Ted Smith is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Nuvve Holding Corp., and a passionate advocate of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. He has been with Nuvve since its inception as the company’s founding investor and first board member, then later as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Ted currently sits on Nuvve’s board, while serving on the board of Levo Mobility and as a board observer of Switch. Ted previously served on the board of Dreev, a business venture with Nuvve, in 2019.
Prior to joining Nuvve, Ted worked for over two decades in the finance industry and was an officer in the United States Navy. Ted is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, a recipient of the Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC) designation, holds an MBA from the University of San Diego, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Technology from Maine Maritime Academy.
