John Prausa became chief operating officer (COO) of SRI International in 2015, responsible for all activities in support of research and development operations including Contracting and Procurement; Human Resources; Security Operations; and Facilities, Property and Logistics. Martin has more than 25 years of experience in the software development and integrated circuit engineering industries. As Partner and COO, he focuses on corporate operations, legal, marketing, strategy and also assist with implementing, customizing, maintaining, and training for the QAD ERP system. Previously, Martin spent five years as the IT manager for an international integrated circuit engineering company that is a worldwide leader in the design, development, and marketing of silicon timing devices for high-growth application segments. Additionally, he has experience in quality assurance and configuration positions in the software engineering arena. Martin earned a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University with a focus in electrical engineering from Penn State University, as well as various ERP/MRP/service-related certifications.
